Step 4 - grade

GradeHub allows you to see scores on a standard, curve, or a custom type of distribution before you assign grades. Once you determine the distribution type, GradeHub calculates grades, updates faculty reports, and provides students their scores.

  1. Log in to GradeHub
  2. Ensure the calculate scores button was selected under the read student tests icon (see Step 2 - upload student tests for instructions)
  3. Select the class and test you want to grade test scores for
  4. Select the Grade test icon under tests

View grade summary

  1. Select the Grade summary tab to view student test scores

Select a grade scale - standard and curve


  1. Select Standard, Curve, or Custom tab to view respective grade distributions.
  2. To assign grades on a standard or curve distribution:
    1. Select the respective scale tab (e.g., Standard)
    2. Next, select the respective radio button under assign grades (e.g., Standard)
    3. Select the Confirm button below
    After you select confirm, a confirmation popup will appear for you to confirm that you want to assign scores and publish results to your students.
  3. Type CONFIRM GRADES in all caps then select the Confirm button to submit grades


Select a grade scale - custom
  1. To assign grades on a custom distribution, select the Custom tab
    1. Select the Custom radio button under Assign grades 

    2. Type in the Grade letters and the beginning (Start %) and ending (End %) percentiles
    3. Select the Confirm button 

  2. After you select confirm, a confirmation popup will appear for you to confirm that you want to assign scores and publish results to your students
  3. Type CONFIRM GRADES in all caps and then select the Confirm button to submit grades
